MASS COMBAT OF THE DACUS FLY
Dacotapa is a method of biological mass trapping of the Dacus fly, using insect attractants (ammonium sulfate, water-soluble proteins, specialized Dacus attactants, etc.) This method is enviromentally friendly. The goal is to trap as many adult insects as possible, resulting in a decline of their population down to a level where they are no longer a threat to our crops.
